Jayson Georges writes…
This will be an tremendous opportunity to converse with both academics and practitioners on the topic of honor and shame.
For too long the issue was buried in the shadows of Western missiology. This is regrettable, because honor and shame is one of those rare issues that impacts all aspects of Christian theology and mission. Over the last 5+ years many ministry teams,
organizations, publications, and scholars have explored the implications of honor and shame in Christian mission.
This inaugural conference brings together people across various fields for a special time of learning and networking. The plenary sessions, workshops and collaborative learning sessions will have tremendous impact. I expect great things from this conference. This gathering will produce ideas, resources, and connections that have a global impact.
I can’t wait for the 2017 Honor-Shame conference!
